👋 I'm Emily!
My path into UX design wasn’t a straight line—it was sparked by curiosity and a deep desire to understand people. Early in my career, I worked in people operations at a health tech startup, where I had the unique opportunity to sit in on product usability sessions. I was captivated as customers interacted with the product, sharing their frustrations, desires, and ideas for improvement. Watching how their feedback shaped enhancements to the app lit a spark in me, and I realized I wanted to be part of that process.
That realization led me to pivot my career. Drawing from my academic foundation in Psychology from Virginia Commonwealth University and my knack for understanding human behavior, I took a leap and completed the User Experience Design Immersive Program at General Assembly in New York.
Since then, I’ve spent over five years working with Fortune 500 companies, transforming complex systems into intuitive, impactful designs. Whether it’s running design sprints, uncovering insights through research, or crafting user-centered solutions, I thrive on connecting the dots between data and design to deliver measurable results.
Every project is an opportunity to create meaningful experiences that resonate with users. If you're looking for someone who brings curiosity, empathy, and creativity to UX, let’s connect—I’d love to collaborate on your next big idea.
